The fashionable and gorgeous Alice Cullen (played by actress Ashley Greene in the Twilight movies) has become known for her signature short haircut throughout the series. For the first couple of films, Alice sported a layered flippy bob with side bangs, but her look was updated when Breaking Dawn: Part 1 was released last year. With her hair still a rich mahogany brown in the movie, the style compliments her features nicely and gives everyone’s favourite vampire fashionista a bit of an edge.

For Breaking Dawn’s upcoming and long-awaited second installment, Ashley’s on-set hairstylist Beatrice de Alba explained to BeautyHigh.com how she achieved the star’s latest style. Apparently, she started with a textured razor cut, before drying Ashley’s hair with both a ceramic dryer and a round ceramic brush (by Pro Beauty). Using a ceramic flat iron, Beatrice added texture to the hair by finger-styling in the desired direction.
