Cindy Crawford has wowed us yet again on the December 2012 issue of Shape Magazine. The 46-year old mother of two posed for the latest edition of the magazine 20 years after her first Shape cover and we must say, she looks fantastic.
The seemingly ageless model and entrepreneur opened up to the magazine about staying fit, maintaining a healthy lifestyle and shared her top beauty tips. “You take your body and your fitness for granted in your 20’s a lot and to do a Shape cover now at 46 reminds me that all the hard work and all the times that you work out even when you don’t that it all pays off. It’s cumulative. It will catch up to you over the years either in a bad way if you don’t take care of your body, or in a good way. If you do take care of your body.”
Over the years, she’s perfected her diet and is more realistic about fitting in a workout whenever she can, even if it’s just 10 minutes. “I think a lot of women have it in their heads that if they can’t commit to a whole hour at the gym, then it’s not worth the effort. But that’s not true!” she says.
Crawford also confirmed she still works out faithfully at least three times a week with a personal trainer. When it comes to beauty she says, “Taking care of your skin is what you put in your body; drinking a lot of water, the more healthy diet you eat, I think that shows on your face.”
