Think of it as the mood ring of lipsticks. We can’t wait to get our hands on Givenchy Rouge Interdit in Liv’s Lips, which hits stores this November. Named after gorgeous actress Liv Tyler who happens to have inherited her Dad Stephen Tyler’s over-sized pout, Liv’s Lips might look like it’s made for goth girls, but the colour of the lipstick actually changes as soon as it hits your lips.
Although the lipstick at first looks like it’s a dark plum shade when you first apply it to your lips, the shade actually adjusts according to your body’s pH the same way a mood ring changes colour depending on who’s wearing it. The lipstick looks unique on everyone, leaving wearers rocking a shade that’s somewhere between a cool and a warm blackberry shade, depending on each person’s pH levels. We’re totally intrigued! There are two other lipsticks in Givenchy’s Lively Collection (a classic red and a light pink), all of which were inspired by Liv Tyler, but Liv’s Lips will definitely make you feel like you’ve finally found your own signature shade of lipstick.
