Scarlett Johansson is currently filming Hitchcock, a biopic of Alfred Hitchcock in which Scarlett plays Janet Leigh. Although the film isn’t due out until 2013, we have a feeling that early photos of Scarlett as Janet are going to inspire a lot of Halloween costumes this year!
Scarlett looks eerily identical to Janet in this photo of the actress wearing a pale green knit top and sitting behind the wheel of a vintage car.
The actress wore a short curly blonde wig to play Janet Leigh in Psycho. For makeup, Scarlett’s fine brows were filled in to up the drama factor, and her eyes were lined perfectly with black liquid liner. Remember, Psycho originally came out in 1960, so boldly defined brows and perfectly lined eyes were at the height of fashion. Scarlett’s eyelashes were enhanced with fake lashes to bring even more attention to her eyes. She wore a pale pink blush on her cheeks and a soft pink lipstick. We think she looks remarkably similar to Janet in the original! Compare for yourself.
