The rumours are true! Brad Pitt is officially the first male face of Chanel No. 5. There have been rumours circulating since May that the father of 6 had been asked to by the fashion house to be the face of the famous Chanel fragrance, and today President of Chanel Fragrance & Beauty Andrea d’Avack confirmed it. “We believe this dynamic, modern campaign will make people think in a completely different way about No.5,” d’Avack said in a statement.
Although the commercial won’t air until October 15th, we’re already excited to see the clip that landed Brad a $7 million pay cheque. The commercial is directed by Anna Karenina director Joe Wright and features Brad talking to what viewers are made to believe is a woman but turns out to be a bottle of Chanel No. 5. Next Friday just became our new favourite day!
