Rihanna cut off her hair this week, and debuted her new pixie haircut at the MTV VMAs. Rihanna opened the MTV VMAs with a performance, and she also won the most sought-after award for Video of the Year for “We Found Love” at the end of the night, but her hair definitely stole the show. Rihanna’s known for experimenting with different hairstyles and colours. From red, black and blonde to soft waves and edgy undercuts, there seems to be no hairstyle that this starlet isn’t willing to try.

We love Rihanna’s new cropped ‘do, which she debuted just weeks after Miley Cyrus famously cut off her hair.
“Her hairstyle typically changes depending on what’s on our agenda, what she’s wearing, or how she’s feeling,” her stylist Ursula Stephen told People magazine this year. “We take it day by day and event by event, and usually will both bring ideas to the table. It’s always a collaboration.”
We think Rihanna’s new short hair makes her look fresh, youthful and vibrant. Considering she recently rocked an undercut, we also think her new pixie ‘do is the best base she can start with for growing her hair long again, if that’s her next look on the horizon. We love a star who’s willing to try every hair trend under the rainbow. Linda Evangelista was famous for that in the ’90s, and we think Rihanna might just be the 21st centuries most daring beauty queen.
