We couldn’t fit all of our interview with Kelly in the issue, so we thought we’d share a few exclusive excerpts from our talk with Kelly online. We asked Kelly what her signature fragrance is, and here’s what she revealed to us:
“It’s by a company called Mure et Nuxe, and it’s called Extreme. It’s something I’ve worn since I was 12. I asked me mom why I could wear makeup and my sister could. Then she agreed upon me wearing perfume. She took me to Barneys and I picked a label, oddly enough, because it was purple – I didn’t even smell it. But it’s actually my signature smell. I’ve walked into places and my friends have called me and said, ‘Are you here?’ And I have said, ‘Yeah, why?’
“‘Well, because we can smell you.’ I can’t actually smell it on myself. Everybody in my family has a scent. My dad and my mom each have a signature smell to the point that even if my dad’s in my car, the seat belt, from where he buckled his seatbelt, smells like my dad. It’s very strange.”
