Lea Michele‘s first L’Oreal ads have surfaced! And we thought we’d have to wait until the New Year to see them. We were thrilled to find out on Tuesday that Lea had been named the new face of L’Oreal. The Glee beauty is a total natural, and we love what she will represent for young women. Growing up in the spotlight on Broadway, Lea was used to having her appearance scrutinized by the industry. “How many managers told me, ‘Get a nose job. You’re not pretty enough’?” she said Harper’s Bazaar. “But I proved them wrong.” She certainly did!
While many young actresses and performers give in to the pressure to alter themselves for the sake of fame, we think Lea is a shining example of why unique and natural beauty is really what stands out from the pack. “I was one of the only girls in my high school that didn’t get [a nose job],” Lea confessed to GQ. “And if anybody needed it, I probably did.” We’re happy that she stuck to her guns!
