Madonna’s new Addicted To Sweat workout DVD hits shelves on September 5 with her trainer Nicole Winhoffer showing you how to get Madonna’s hot body with an intense cardio workout. Apparently the Addicted To Sweat routine was developed with Madonna based on her own daily workout. Celeb workout DVD’s are nothing new to the fitness scene. Every since we started getting fit with Jane Fonda celebs have been helping you get in shape. While some of the stars shopping workout DVD’s make sense, some are surprising. Here are some of our most unexpected celeb workout DVD’s:
We are sure the Who’s The Boss star regrets filming the workout video Alyssa Milano’s Teen Steam as a budding young actress. In the video, Alyssa helps her friends workout in her bedroom leading them through a number of exercises developed for these young girls. We never thought of Alyssa as a fitness buff, so we don’t know where this idea came from.
At one time the boxer may have been in prime shape to star in a workout video, but for this 2004 DVD he is well past his prime physique. In Walk It Off With George, the stick to simple, easy workout moves such as marching and knee lifts. We imagine this set of videos is intended for an older crowd who remember George in the ring, but do we really need a whole video dedicated to these simple movements?
While we understand the appeal of watching the Playboy Bunnies working out, The Girls Next Door Workout seems slightly inappropriate. Holly Madison and her fellow Bunnies flaunted their bikini bodies at the Playboy Mansion in an attempt to get you to look just like them. We can imagine a lot of men offering to join in when this workout video came on.
