When Nicki Minaj tweeted that she had a “surprise” for us last night, we all thought she was refering to rumours that she’d signed on to be a judge on American Idol. It turns out, she was actually talking about her new fragrance, Pink Friday. Although the fragrance doesn’t come out until late September, Nicki shared an image of the bust bottle, complete with her signature pink hair. When asked by fans what the fragrance would smell like, Nicki simply said like “angels playing.”

She’s not the only musician with serious street style to release a fragrance bottle inspired by her own personal taste. Both Katy Perry and Gwen Stefani released fragrances inspired by their own vibe. Although it’s definitely a little flashy, we have to admit that Nicki’s bottle definitely takes the cake in the edgy department between the three bottles. What more could we expect?
