Oscar de la Renta has just launched a new line of nail polishes. There are just three colours available — bright red, dark purple and ice blue. The ice blue shade — known as Larimar — is our favourite. It’s inspired by a stone of the same name found exclusively in the designer’s native Dominican Republic. The colours are all inspired by Oscar de la Renta’s fall ’12 ready-to-wear collection, hence why they’re called “The Runway Collection.”
With nail art more popular than ever before, everyone seems to be getting on the nail polish wagon these days. We’re thrilled that Oscar de la Renta has joined the ranks of designers with gorgeous beauty products. It’s nice to know that just because we can’t rock one of the designer’s gowns to work, we can still feel a little haute couture around the office with a fresh coat of his polish.
