With Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby — starring Leonardo DiCaprio as Jay Gatsby, Tobey Maguire as Nick Carraway and Carey Mulligan as flawed beauty Daisy Buchanan — set to hit theatres on Christmas Day, we’re already expecting the roaring ’20s and everything flapper chic to inspire fall style. Fortunately, we won’t have to get too creative when interpreting ’20s beauty trends because Boot No7 is helping to do the work for us. The company’s upcoming Deco Darling collection is inspired by the film and will feature a glitter nail polish set, a loose powder highlighter, an Art Deco eyeshadow palette and an eyeliner. Designed by celebrity makeup artist Lisa Eldridge, the line includes everything you need to replicate Carey Mulligan’s smokey-eyed look in The Great Gatsby. Add a scarf or a decorative headband and voila: instant Daisy Buchanan. The movie might not be out until Christmas, but given that the Deco Darling collection comes out on October 31st, expect to see a lot of Daisy Buchanans at this year’s Halloween parties.
