In today’s beauty news, we’re happy to report that MAC Cosmetics has released info on one its upcoming, limited-edition makeup collections. The company has announced it will be partnering up with Archie Comics to launch an exclusive makeup line called “MAC Archie’s Girls.”
According to USA Today, the cosmetics “will celebrate the iconic beauty looks of Betty and Veronica” and be available next spring. This type of cartoon/comics concept has worked in the past for MAC with its highly successful Wonder Woman makeup line last year. It also follows the recent announcement of the highly anticipated Disney Villains beauty collection set to launch this fall.
MAC has been busy this year with successful launches that included the Beth Ditto Makeup Collection, the Heavenly Creatures Cosmetics line and of course, the Carine Roitfeld MAC Collection.
