Why we love them: Cute packaging with amazing results, Cargo Cosmetics is a go to for not only makeup artists, but for regular women who want easy-to-use makeup. Some of our favourite products include their innovative High Definition collection and environmentally-friendly Plant Love makeup.

Founded: 1972
Why we love them: It’s hard to believe this Canadian beauty brand celebrated a huge milestone this year — 40 years in business. Selling makeup, fragrance and skin care products, some of their cult favourites including Concealer Portfolio and Feline Eyeliner HD.
Who: CoverFX
Founded: 2000
Why we love them: While they may be relatively new to the beauty scene, CoverFX creates amazing primers and concealers Hollywood even turns to. Whether it’s hiding a tattoo, scar, bruise, or even rosacea, CoverFX has a product to fix it!

Founded: 2001
Why we love them: Who doesn’t love to indulge in sweet smelling beauty products? Cake Beauty’s deliciously-scented lotions, bath gels, scrubs and glosses make us feel like we can have a guilt-free treat. A must-try is their award-winning Satin Sugar Dry Shampoo, which absorbs hair greasies, while leaving hair smelling yummy.
