With The Amazing Spider-Man hitting theatres in a couple weeks, Emma Stone has been jet-setting around Europe promoting the flick before it makes its way to North America. Last night Emma was in Paris for the premiere, looking absolutely stunning in a bold red lip and wavy hair, pinned to the side.
The key to wearing a red lip is to choose a shade that matches your skin tone. If you’re blond, look for a red that has a yellow undertone, and if you’re a brunette, a blue-based red is best. And the so-called rule that redheads shouldn’t wear red lipstick? Nonsense. Auburn ladies should look for a warmer hue, while bright redheads should select a bluer red. What brought everything together was the side-swept wavy hair that was just the right amount of glamour. One of the easiest ways to achieve those red carpet curls is with a styling wand. This design allows you to wrap your hair around the wand to get close to the root and also avoid those weird crinkles you get from a traditional curling iron. Finish with plenty of hair spray and use a few bobby pins to set the hair to the side.
