Swedish model Caroline Forsling has slapped Estee Lauder with a $2 million lawsuit saying the cosmetics giant used a “manipulated” image of her in an anti-aging ad campaign. The model claims that Estee Lauder took a test shot of her face sans makeup for a hair care shoot earlier this year and that same image is now being used as a “before” shot in an ad for an anti-aging skincare product called Plantscription.
Forsling, who claims to be significantly younger than 45, is also up in arms over the fact that the advertising campaign that she is now tied to implies that she is a test subject between 45-60 years old. Eeps!
