Sexy singer Shakira is entering the world of celebrity fragrances with her first perfume, S by Shakira. Early fragrance news stories describe the scent as jasmine, sandalwood and vanilla. S by Shakira will be on sale in September in 15,000 retailers around the world. Shakira will also be promoting the new fragrance on her North American tour this fall.
Gerard Butler has signed on to be a L’Oreal spokesman. Gerard Butler will be the man for the L’Oreal Paris Men’s Expert. If ladies in North America are excited about seeing Gerard Butler’s Scottish accent and body for the beauty brand, don’t get your hopes up. The L’Oreal deal with Gerard Butler actually excludes the US. We are still waiting to see if the US gets its own hunky spokesman.
Ultraflesh will debut it’s new mascara Panthera at Sephora on October 1. The new mascara has a lid shaped like a Panther and is claiming to be “the holy grail” of mascaras. The rest of the new Ultraflesh makeup line will launch at Sephora in spring 2011. For now you will have to just live with the mascara, which will cost $26.00.
