In today’s beauty news, everyone’s favourite pop star Lady Gaga has been announced as the newest face of The MAC AIDS Fund. The MAC AIDS Fund supports men, women and children affected by HIV/AIDS globally.
Lady Gaga will be joined by Cyndi Lauper as the new faces and join previous stars Fergie and Pamela Anderson in support of the campaign.
The MAC AIDS Fund will release two lipsticks named for the slightly eccentric duo, Viva Glam Gaga and Viva Glam Cyndi. All proceeds earned from the sales of the lipstick go directly to the Fund. Lady Gaga has also given the rights to the songs from her upcoming Fame Monster album to support the campaign. Way to go ladies! We’re confident that the campaign will be another great success! Keep your eye out for it in MAC stores March 2010.
