In David Yates’ new film The Legend of Tarzan, Margot Robbie stars opposite Alexander Skarsgård as leading lady Jane Clayton. While we’re definitely admiring her ability to tame Skarsgård’s wild Tarzan and transform him into the London-dwelling John Clayton, we are also liking Robbie’s low key beauty. In the movie, the 25-year-old Australian actress stuns with her wispy curls, which are styled back in a casual half-up and half-down hairdo.

If you’re looking to channel your inner Jane, try achieving a similar gorgeous hairstyle in a few simple steps.

1) Start off by carefully pinning your hair back: As a first step, pull back half of your tresses from both sides and pin these locks into place with bobby pins. Next, begin curling the lower, free-falling sections of your hair with a curling wand. Gently wind the strands around the wand, in order to produce loose curls. Carefully bring your fingers through the curled sections and scrunch your hair for a soft, wavy effect.

2) Unpin the top sections of your hair and spritz your locks with dry shampoo: At this point, you can loosen the pinned back sections of your hair from the top of your head. Spritz your hair with dry shampoo to create texture at the crown, allow your hair to set for a few minutes and begin curling this section.

3) Add volumizing spray to your crown: To further enhance the look of your curled locks, spray the top of your crown with volumizing spray. Next, tease and backcomb your tresses for a volumized effect and re-curl your strands. Again, use your fingers to naturally comb through the locks for an au naturel effect, and scrunch the ends.

4) Take a thin section of hair from either side and pin it back: As a finishing touch, frame your facial features by pulling back a small section from either side of your face. Pin these thin strands into place using bobby pins, and be sure to use extra pins for longer or thicker strands.
