On the Spring 2016 runway at New York Fashion Week, Diane von Furstenberg turned to her own 1970s era beauty looks to inspire hair and makeup trends for the next season.
Staying true to the collection’s colourful theme, models stepped into the spotlight with shimmering eyeshadow looks created by makeup artist Pat McGrath. Eyes were lined in funky blue-green shades, while flawless skin, luxurious lashes and nude lips completed the beauty statement.
On the catwalk, models Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and Karlie Kloss all made a fierce statement with their bold, brilliant eye makeup, slightly rosy cheeks and glowing complexions. To further enhance the look, hair looks at DVF were voluminous, bouncy and slightly frizzy. The playful curled locks on display were pinned to the side and accented with fresh, vibrant blossoms for an accessorizing finish.
It seems that DVF is bringing the disco glamour look back for Spring 2016. Here’s a closer look at the funky ringlets and eye-catching makeup from the show.
