How to Wear Orange Lipstick Trend
Nothing beats punchy orange for your pout this summer! The bold colour is flattering for any skin tone and is a hot colour choice for the sunny season. Celebs like Jessica Alba and Selena Gomez have rocked the look and now its your turn. It is an easy trend to pull off as long as you follow a few simple rules.

Find the shade that best suits you: Luckily, orange is universally flattering so anyone can pull it off. The trick is to pick a shade that best suits you! For a warmer complexion choose a yellow based orange and for a cooler skin tone coral based orange is the way to go. As a general rule of thumb, the lighter your skin colour the lighter the hue you should choose.
For fair skinned women we love a peach shade like MAC’s Razzledazzler. For something a little subtler try a sheer tangerine gloss like Maybelline’s Colorsensational High Shine Gloss in Captivating Coral.
For those with a medium complexion dare to be vibrant! Opt for Revlon’s Super Lustrous Lipstick in Siren or Urban Decay’s Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Colour in Punch Drunk.
Keep the rest minimal: The trick to perfecting the look is to keep the rest of your makeup simple. As with any other bold lip colour, the look works best when the colour is the focal point. For the eyes, stick to mascara and top eyeliner. If you must wear eyeshadow, simply sweep a light brown shadow on your lids. To compliment the juicy colour, sweep bronzer lightly on your cheeks for that effortless beachy glow.
Try it on: The way a colour looks in the bottle is not necessarily how it’s going to look on your lips. Don’t be afraid to test out a few shades in order to find the one that you love the most! Remember, lipstick comes off easily so have fun with it and test out what looks best on you.
