Inside Scoop On Blake Lively’s Met Gala Makeup
Blake Lively did not disappoint at last night’s Met Gala. At the iconic annual event, the young starlet wowed fans and media with her sex, smokey makeup, glowing skin and sleek hair. NARS worked with celebrity makeup artist Elaine Offers to create the beauty look for Blake Lively at the Metropolitan Museum’s Costume Institute Gala celebrating the unveiling of its newest exhibit, PUNK: Chaos to Couture.
Beauty Inspiration: “It starts with Blake’s signature approach: luminous beautiful skin,” said Elaine Offers about the look she created for Blake Lively. “We created a serious eye shape as a nod to the punk theme by building on a smoky eye and winging it outward. With the diaphanous layers of her skirt and a light lip, it comes together as being both glamorous and edgy.”
