Victoria Duffield Shares Her Beauty Secrets

Abbotsford, British Columbia native Victoria Duffield might only be 17 year old, but she has already appeared on hit shows like Smallville, Mr. Young and Cold Squad and recently released her debut album, Shut Up and Dance, with Warner Music. When she’s not performing for crazy crowds, like at the Sassy Awards in Surrey, BC on October 19th, she’s hitting the books and attending class at her Vancouver high school. She’s kind of like a real-life Hannah Montana. How does she juggle it all and still look so gorgeous? With a few of her favourite products, of course! Victoria told Real Style all about her top beauty secrets. Here they are!
Mac Lip Glass Rocks
“If you want a gloss that really shines and catches people’s attention…. this is the lip gloss you want!! I love it!!”

Experiment With Lip Colour
“Love trying new colour shades like a coral, soft pink, or even a brighter pink. Also, always gotta have an option of just a nude lip colour, too. That’s a necessity in my purse.”

Carry Face Powder In Your Bag
“My face always tends to get a little shiny as the day progresses, so I don’t go anywhere without my face powder and big makeup brush. On a day to day basis, I like a matte look to my skin, so I’ve always got to be prepared to get rid of the shine!”

Mascara Is A Must
“Even with basically no make-up, mascara allows your eyes to pop. It’s an essential!  I apply one layer and let it dry, then by adding that one extra application it makes a huge difference, elongating my lashes that extra bit, and making them more prominent.”

Liquid Liner On Top, Pencil On The Bottom!
“I prefer to use a liquid liner above my upper lashes rather than a pencil eyeliner. I just find a liquid eyeliner shows up better and makes more of a statement with my eyes, allowing them to ‘pop’ more. I usually will ‘wing out’ the sides of the liner on the outer edges of my eyes because I like the look of it.  For my bottom liner, I won’t use liquid though, I will use a black pencil to define my eye, or a white pencil to make my eyes appear bigger and brighter.”
