RUNWAY HAIR
OLD SCHOOL COOL
NOW OPEN
Founded by Karina Birch and her husband, Cam Baty, the appropriately named
Rocky Mountain Soap Company is based in Canada’s Rocky Mountains and is known for its natural soaps, cleansing oils, shampoos and body lotions. The Banff company, which creates products with eco- friendly and toxin-free ingredients, is now expanding across the True North. Rocky Mountain Soap Co. has just opened a retail location at the CF Toronto Eaton Centre. For natural skincare fans in Toronto, this just may come as welcome beauty news.
The Moschino Fall 2018 runway channelled Jackie O with its ’60s- inspired dos. A voluminous bouffant, with flipped out edges and plenty of body, the vintage look made a bold return and proved that volume is always en vogue. To steal the look for yourself, use plenty of high-hold hairspray and keep your overall beauty look classic and feminine.
HOT COLOUR VALIANT POPPY
Rich poppy hues will be everywhere once Fall 2018 hits, and makeup lovers can already jump into the trend ahead. Finish off your August beauty looks with poppy-inspired lipstick or
lip gloss to bring out that summertime tan. Alternatively, you can keep lips neutral and highlight your eyes instead with poppy-toned eyeshadow. A poppy-coloured blush is also a pretty end-of-summer look, especially for darker skin tones. With Pantone Universe officially declaring Valiant Poppy as a popular hue for this year, the look is sure to only heat up as we move into the cooler fall and holiday seasons.
